Halo Pharmaceutical, a rapidly growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Roberto Darienzo to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.

Roberto was born in Brazil and is a graduate Engineer from F.E.I. University in Sao Paulo. He has a second degree in Business Administration from Mackenzie University and over 30 years of industrial experience, with 22 of them in technical and international general management roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently, and since leaving Sanofi-Aventis in 2005, where he was based in Germany, to return to the Americas, he became Vice President Americas Region for Schering-Plough and subsequently for Merck with responsibility for 13 sites in North and South America.
