SOHM, Inc., a prominent player in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmeceutical sectors, specializing in the production and distribution of generic drugs across diverse therapeutic categories, has officially announced the establishment of its cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Carlsbad.
This state-of-the-art facility will play a pivotal role in fulfilling existing orders and accommodating the anticipated influx of new orders, particularly as SOHM's primary facility in downtown San Diego undergoes comprehensive renovations to ensure full operational functionality. SOHM is on track to finalize the engineering batches produced in the San Diego facility by Q1 2024 as part of its overarching strategy to augment production capacity and streamline operational efficiency.
Situated in Carlsbad, California, the new facility boasts ample space dedicated to the manufacturing of topical products, as well as serving as the operational hub for SOHM's various activities. Commencing with an initial daily production capacity of 500 gallons (1,892 liters) and focusing on topical products, the facility is poised to expand its capabilities to include soft-gel suppositories by the end of Q1 2024 or the beginning of Q2 2024.
At the time of this press release, the Carlsbad facility is in its final stages of development. The completion of full cGMP manufacturing capacity is anticipated by December 2023, marking a significant milestone in SOHM's commitment to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical solutions.
