Marking a significant milestone, this innovative equipment represents the inaugural capsule filling solution in North America designed to provide advanced protection for both employees and the environment when handling highly potent pharmaceutical products.
Given the potency of many active pharmaceutical ingredients, such as spray-dried powders and inhalation products, manufacturers must establish a robust and permanent physical barrier to shield operators from potential exposure. The Modu-C CS Containment, featuring a fully enclosed precision filling system, not only safeguards employees from material exposure but also offers in-containment capabilities, inline capsule polishing, 100% gross weight control, and a wet-in-place feature, thereby minimizing exposure risks during the cleaning process.
