CMC Biologics A/S was founded in 2001 in order to provide faster and more effective solutions to the biopharmaceutical industry’s growing need for outsourced development and manufacturing resources.
To meet the needs of a growing base of customers around the world, we expanded into the U.S. through acquisition of the process development laboratories and manufacturing facility from ICOS Corporation, rebranding the global organization to CMC Biologics, Inc. in 2008. Today, our staff of more than 400 dedicated employees is committed to providing solutions for more than 60 customers on five continents.
In keeping with our focus on providing solutions to complex challenges, CMC Biologics is also committed to ecological stewardship and support of the communities in which we operate. We have applied for ISO 14000 certification to ensure that we have processes in place to measure and improve our impact on the environment. We also provide training opportunities for university students and military service members in our local communities who are seeking to develop scientific and technical skills
