INDIANAPOLIS (June 4, 2012) – BioStorage Technologies, a global provider of comprehensive sample management solutions for the bioscience industry, including storage, cold chain logistics and virtual sample intelligence, has announced the appointment of Kristina Robson, Ph.D., as Senior Director of Comprehensive Solutions. Dr. Robson will create global policies and procedures for sample management operations and develop strategic sample management service partnerships.

Dr. Robson will create global policies for sample management operations to help clients achieve customization and process efficiencies for the optimization of sample assets to support research and development. Dr. Robson will also help establish the department’s overall vision, drive improvement initiatives and monitor effective performance metrics.
With well over 10 years of experience in the academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Robson was most recently the Scientific Director of BioPharma Services for EMD Millipore’s Discovery & Development Solutions organization. Robson holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Biochemistry and Division of Genetics from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State University.
