Lundbeck Chooses ArisGlobal® for Safety and Regulatory Cloud Platform

Lundbeck, a global pharmaceutical company, has chosen ArisGlobal® to complete the upgrade of its regulatory and safety systems on the agOnDemand™ platform.

The contract reinforces ArisGlobal®'s position as the top provider of safety solutions on the cloud. First introduced to the industry seven years ago, the agOnDemand™ platform now serves more than 100 global life-sciences customers.

ArisGlobal®'s Register™ (for regulatory tracking) and ARISg™ (for pharmacovigilance and drug safety reporting) have been used by Lundbeck for several years. When Lundbeck was making a decision on whether or not to upgrade to the latest version of ARISg™, they followed a rigorous tendering, evaluation and selection process which resulted in ArisGlobal® winning the contract.

The new Total Safety™ suite was implemented on the agCloud™ fully hosted service environment. This extended capabilities to affiliate data entry and compliance monitoring through the addition of new modules IRT and OST.

Following the successful go live of hosted Total Safety™, Lundbeck then considered the upgrade of Register™ together with a move to cloud to complete a fully outsourced hosted regulatory and safety systems strategy. ArisGlobal® was awarded this contract in March 2016 and is now responsible for providing Lundbeck with a fully validated and compliant cloud solution for global RIMS, Drug Safety, and Pharmacovigilance.

Jens Peter Balling, MD, VP, Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Quality Assurance for Lundbeck said: "Lundbeck believes that the ArisGlobal® Total Safety™ suite via agOnDemand™ is the right solution in order to minimize maintenance and upgrade costs/resources, and for us to focus on our key deliverables - our pharmaceutical products and development projects."

Sonia Veluchamy, Managing Director of ArisGlobal®, stated: "We are delighted to continue to provide Lundbeck with our market-leading products and services and look forward to developing our partnership together in 2016 and beyond."
