Alcami announced the launch of its international sales office in Tokyo, Japan. The company is expanding its presence in Japan to remain at the forefront of market demands and strengthen business relationships in the region. The new branch will provide a home base for Alcami's local customers and serve Japanese companies interested in developing and manufacturing products for launch in the U.S. market.

"The establishment of dedicated offices in Tokyo further advances Alcami's mission to deliver exceptional individualized client services around the world," said Dr. Stephan Kutzer, CEO, president and chairman of Alcami. "We see strong potential for development in the Japanese region and are confident this expansion will enable us to better service our Japanese customers to launch their products in the U.S. market."

The new office, located in the Shiodome business center in the heart of Tokyo, opened its doors last week with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by local partners, customers, and Alcami executives and commercial leaders, Catherine Hanley, senior director of marketing and corporate communications, and Syed T. Husain, chief commercial officer.

The Tokyo Shiodome Building was strategically chosen to allow for closer collaboration with Alcami's regional pharmaceutical and biotechnology customer base. The office space will initially house representatives of Alcami's global sales and business development team, with plans to later include quality, regulatory, and project management teams.
