TrialCard, based in Morrisville, N.C., will expand its patient support services in Kansas City.
Demand for the center's services increases around the beginning of the year. The Kansas City center will get up to the 200-225 employee mark beginning around November, including temporary workers, and drop to between 100 to 150 after about February, said Scott Dulitz, senior vice president of enterprise strategy and corporate development for TrialCard. Over time, he said, activity — and the employee count — could increase.
The company was attracted to Kansas City by the area's tech and startup environment, educated workforce and standard of living, TrialCard CEO Mark Bouck said in a release.
Excellere Partners sold TrialCard to private equity firm Odyssey Investment Partners in November. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
