Aphena Pharma Solutions has announced the addition of Matthew Prokopczyk to its leadership team as vice president of quality and regulatory affairs.
Prokopczyk joined Aphena in July 2020 and brings 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the areas of quality control, regulatory compliance and quality assurance. Prior to joining Aphena, Prokopczyk was vice president of global quality at Amerigen Pharmaceuticals. His earlier experience includes positions as vice president of U.S. quality at Alvogen; senior director of quality at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories; and earlier roles in quality at IVAX Pharmaceuticals (currently Teva), Purdue Pharma and Wyeth (currently Pfizer). Prokopczyk has an undergraduate degree in biology from the College of Mount St. Vincent and an MBA from Fordham University.
