Prange Group and its affiliate, Adragos Pharma, have officially entered into definitive agreements with Fresenius Kabi for the acquisition of the premier sterile pharmaceutical production facility located in Halden, Norway. As a part of this strategic transaction, Fresenius Kabi will establish a long-term supply arrangement for products manufactured at the Halden site. This acquisition represents a significant milestone for both Prange Group and Adragos Pharma, signifying an expansion of their global footprint and the addition of substantial capacity for sterile liquid manufacturing.
The Halden site, strategically positioned at key crossroads in Norway, stands out as one of Northern Europe's largest and most advanced sterile production facilities. Equipped with state-of-the-art capabilities, including the production of IV bags, ampoules, blow-fill-seal technology, and various other pharmaceutical dosage forms, the facility served as a cornerstone for Fresenius Kabi's manufacturing operations in the Nordics. Additionally, the site has been a trusted contract manufacturer for other prominent pharmaceutical customers.
