DifGen Pharmaceuticals LLC has successfully acquired KriGen LLC, a fully integrated sterile drug product manufacturer specializing in a wide array of parenteral products, such as Aseptic and Terminally Sterilized LVP bags, PFS, Microspheres, and complex Long Acting Injectables.
In a joint statement, DifGen's Founders and Co-CEOs, Ramandeep Singh Jaj and Dr. Santhanakrishnan Srinivasan, expressed their excitement over this significant milestone. The acquisition of KriGen LLC is expected to enhance DifGen's scientific capabilities in developing complex injectable products. This strategic investment enables internal manufacturing of intricate and high-barrier-to-entry sterile products, ensuring a localized US-based supply chain for valued partners. The primary goal is to provide patients with affordable, high-quality, and consistent life-saving medication while minimizing the impact of drug shortages.
The completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
