Peli BioThermal, a provider of temperature-controlled packaging solutions, has completed a major expansion of its Frankfurt Service Center, tripling its operational capacity to meet accelerating demand across Europe’s pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
Located near Frankfurt International Airport, one of the continent’s most critical logistics gateways, the enlarged facility significantly enhances the company’s ability to support time-sensitive therapies and biopharmaceutical shipments moving through the region. The upgraded site provides increased space, advanced conditioning technology, and faster equipment turnaround times for clients managing complex cold chain requirements.
According to Peli BioThermal CEO Sam Herbert, the expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to investing in high-demand logistics hubs fundamental to global healthcare supply chains. “Frankfurt plays a vital role in global pharmaceutical supply chains,” Herbert said. “By expanding our Service Center here, we are strengthening our European infrastructure and ensuring our customers have the scale, speed, and reliability they need to deliver life-saving treatments where and when they are needed most.”
The project forms part of Peli BioThermal’s broader initiative to scale its global service network, which supports reusable and single-use temperature-controlled packaging systems. The company’s logistics infrastructure spans major markets in Europe, North America, and Asia, providing solutions that help pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance throughout the cold chain.
