Sanner is rebranding its subsidiaries under a single Sanner Group umbrella, beginning with the transition of UK-based Springboard to Sanner UK. The move follows Sanner’s acquisition of Springboard in January 2024 and is intended to bring all offerings together under one brand across medical technology, pharmaceutical, and biotech markets. By operating as Sanner UK, the Cambridge site will be more closely integrated into Sanner’s global network, covering early-stage innovation, human factors engineering, industrialization, and commercial manufacturing.
Company leaders described the rebrand as a deeper integration of expertise and culture rather than a simple name change. Sanner UK will combine Springboard’s engineering and scientific capabilities with Sanner’s global manufacturing scale, positioning the organization to support customers across the full product lifecycle. The Cambridge facility, located in a major UK medtech hub, will continue to offer laboratories and workshops for rapid prototyping, testing, and development for a wide range of medical device applications.
Springboard has built a track record in solving complex technical challenges in regulated markets for clients ranging from startups to multinational healthcare companies. Its integration expands Sanner’s multidisciplinary expertise across engineering, physics, electronics, software, and materials science, alongside established manufacturing and regulatory infrastructure. Sanner said the site plays a central role in its global contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) strategy.
The group’s next integration step will be rebranding U.S.-based Gilero, acquired in October 2024. After establishing a new manufacturing site in Greensboro, Sanner is expanding development capabilities in Chicago and relocating to a larger facility to support prototyping, assembly, and human factors engineering. Management said these changes reflect the company’s international growth plans and its intention to serve customers globally under a unified Sanner identity.
