Formycon AG and OneSource Specialty Pharma have entered a strategic manufacturing partnership to support Formycon’s biosimilar programs for global markets.
Under the agreement, OneSource will act as a strategic manufacturing partner, providing integrated drug substance and drug product capabilities from its biologics facility in Bangalore, India. The collaboration is intended to combine Formycon’s biosimilar development expertise with OneSource’s end‑to‑end biologics manufacturing platform to help ensure reliable and scalable supply.
Formycon said the partnership aligns with its FYB4Growth strategy, which emphasizes cost‑efficient, high‑quality manufacturing to support broader global access to biosimilars. Adding OneSource to its network of manufacturing partners is expected to strengthen supply resilience while maintaining quality and operational standards.
OneSource will contribute a biologics infrastructure that spans cell line development through commercial fill‑finish, supported by multiple manufacturing sites cleared by major regulators, including authorities in the United States and Europe. The company also brings experience in sterile injectables and drug–device combinations.
Both companies framed the agreement as part of a broader effort to expand access to biosimilar and biologic therapies through sustainable manufacturing models. The use of India‑based capacity reflects the growing role of the country as a hub for global biologics development and production.
