Coriolis Pharma has appointed Dr. Teun van der Heide as Chief Executive Officer, effective November 2, 2026. He succeeds Silvia Steyrer-Gruber, who led the company for the past four and a half years.
Dr. van der Heide previously served as Chief Business Officer at ten23 health, where he oversaw business development and commercial activities. His earlier career includes senior positions at Lonza, where he headed the business units Bioscience Solutions and Capsule Delivery Solutions (Capsugel).
In his new role, Dr. van der Heide will focus on strengthening customer relationships, maintaining high service quality, unlocking new growth opportunities, and expanding Coriolis Pharma's global presence, particularly in the United States.
Dr. Michael Wiggenhorn, co-founder and board member of Coriolis Pharma, said Dr. van der Heide's industry experience, entrepreneurial mindset and commercial leadership, particularly as Chief Business Officer at ten23 health, position him to strengthen the business and drive its next phase of growth in Europe, the United States and beyond.
Dr. Wiggenhorn also thanked Steyrer-Gruber for her leadership and contributions to Coriolis Pharma and wished her well for the future.
