GlaxoSmithKline Sells Poland Site to Delpharm

Contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), Delpharm, will acquire GlaxoSmithKline’s Poznań manufacturing facility in Poland, as the France-based company looks to expand its global supply network.

The sale will transfer ownership of the manufacturing site, including all facilities, and its approximately 700 manufacturing employees, to Delpharm.

Delpharm will continue to manufacture, under contract, the existing GSK product line for a minimum of five years, while Glaxo will remain the owner and marketing authorization holder of these products.

The newly acquired site will be Delpharm's eighteenth production plant and the first in Central and Eastern Europe.
