Syneos Health®, a fully integrated biopharmaceutical solutions organization, has announced the launch of its Decentralized Clinical Trial (DCT) Site Network to promote appropriate DCT adoption and ensure high-quality delivery of DCTs and digital health technology solutions. The new DCT Site Network complements the Company’s existing Site Advocacy Group and supports the momentum towards decentralized solutions that bring clinical trials closer to patients.
The Syneos Health DCT Site Network is built on the Company’s global network of Catalyst Sites, Networks, and experienced Principal Investigators. It will cover various therapeutic areas such as Internal and General Medicine, Family Practice, Neurology, Endocrinology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, and Respiratory. Initially launching in the US and Canada, Syneos Health plans to expand the network to include numerous sites across Europe and APAC over time.
According to Noolie Gregory, VP, DCT Operations, Syneos Health, obtaining site buy-in for delivering decentralized solutions has been a significant hurdle to driving DCT adoption. However, through the DCT Site Network, the Company has been able to overcome this challenge by collaborating with crucial site partners to make meaningful progress in this essential arena. The DCT Site Network will enable faster triage of sites for DCT studies, streamline site adoption and training, and facilitate more successful implementation across the board.
Syneos Health’s unique DCT capabilities integrate the “voice of the site and patient” into clinical trials to address significant challenges in certain therapy areas. These capabilities use deep insights, agile technologies, innovative trial design experience, and operational excellence to transform clinical development. As DCTs allow for the collection of more real-time data and real-world insights, they also critically support and influence successful commercialization strategies.
The launch of the Syneos Health DCT Site Network reinforces the Company’s commitment to advancing differentiating technology and data solutions.
