These sugars are designed to improve the stabilization, reduce viscosity, and enhance the delivery performance of proteins and other biopharmaceuticals.
ExtremoChem has pioneered a collection of proprietary sugars, which are synthetic analogues of natural molecules found in extremophiles—organisms capable of thriving in the most inhospitable environments. These sugars have exhibited promising potential in addressing challenges related to the stabilization of biopharmaceuticals throughout various stages, including production, purification, formulation, and transportation.
